You have to really watch and listen closely for little things like the names and phrases of authors, characters, and movie adaptations. It’s an EXTREMELY challenging list to compile because sometimes a book title is not specifically mentioned. When I started researching and reviewing the list, I realized that Buzzfeed’s list was missing a lot of books: those mentioned on the Netflix revival, books that were seen but not talked about, and other really obscure references.
